Campo Histórico "El Plumerillo"
|
Distant 7 km of the city of Mendoza and 2 km of the urban center of the municipality of Las Heras, in the corner of the streets Lisandro Moyano and Independencia. It was training camp of Liberating Ejercito de Los Andes, to the control of General San Martin between 1814 and 1817.
It counts on a museum that hoards great relics of the time. Also, valuable military pieces keep that the Ejercito Libertador used and a great collection of military suits of the time. The place is acclimated like at the time, which allows the traveller to position in time and space and to feel within the scene.
Usually representations are made of the scenes of the time in charge of characterized people, who change week to week (the WEEKENDS ARE ONLY MADE). The guided visits have a value of $ 1 for tourist and $ 0.80 for the students.

Villavicencio / Reserva Natural Villavicencio |
VILLAVICENCIO: It is located in the forest that the Arq. Neira designed in 1941. Is a declared natural reserve (PRIVATED). The hotel complex is surrounded by wonderful flowing gardens and of mineral water.
NATURAL RESERVE VILLAVICENCIO: It does not have to be confused with the private hotel complex, that is private. The reserve is located to 51 km of Capital Mendoza and is a wonderful site of 70,000 hectares. It is integral part of the Network of Protected Natural Areas of the Province of Mendoza and has a spring of mineral water to 1750 Msnm (Meters Up the Sea).
One preserves with this reserve the flora and the own fauna of the region. It has patrimonial, cultural and historical value.

Do not exist urban buses (colectivos) that cover this route regularly. Therefore an excursion with
guides in the city of Mendoza will have to be contracted.

Potrerillos |
Located in the middle of the Cordillera de Los Andes, it is a destiny as much as for winter as for summer.
Their wonderfull landscapes offer for winter the Thermal Baths of Cacheuta or the Center of Ski Vallecitos. However in summer the visitor can make rafting in the Rio Mendoza (Mendoza River), trekking, and very many activities more.
Ideal destiny for the family, since El Salto or Las Vegas valleys can be rented to cabins in, who as panoramic vista has mountains of bottom like impressive postcard, that surely it will enamor to the traveller. This is guarantee from which it will return, because the memory that will take is wonderful.

They must be approached colectivos (buses) of the company Expreso Uspallata in the Terminal of Omnibus of Mendoza, since the mentioned company is who has the concession of the lines to the high mountain.
The ticket it is boughtin in the terminal and when undertaking the return is paid on board. Consult schedules and frequencies.

Uspallata |
The Valley of Uspallata must its name for being a calm and quiet valley. One extends through 60 kilometers, where their hills go cambiand of color throughout the way due to the heterogeneity of the materials that compose their formation. It has an important natural beauty and a calm climate, besides to have history and a great historical patrimonial value for the Province.
Their scenes were the chosen ones to film several productions, being stood out for example Hollywood “Seven years in the Tibet” with Brad Pitt, of who still several scenes are conserved retorts of Tibet which they were generated artificially by the production of this film.
A place by far enchantment that is worth the trouble to know and is ideal to share in family and to relax totally.
